Starring in 2007, StarSong was only released during the Core 7 era of the franchise but wasn't limited by any stretch. Starsong (bottom-right) as part of the 25th Birthday Celebration Collector Set. She was voiced by Teryl Rothery in mid-2007 and then Chantal Strand in late 2007. She also stars in her own short with Pinkie Pie titled " Star Song and the Magic Dance Shoes". In Twinkle Wish Adventure, she's among the ponies that journey to Whimsey Weatherbe's cave on Willy Nilly Mountain to rescue Twinkle Wish the wishing star after it escapes. Pinkie Pie later helps out and she sings away for her friends. It features Sweetie Belle as a mermaid where the user can have all sorts of adventures with her. Starsong first appears in Meet the Ponies, where she's shy to go on stage. The Sweetie Belle Mermaid Set is a mini playset in the G3 franchise. StarSong starred in Twinkle Wish Adventure, Sweetie Belle's Gumball House Surprise, Waiting for the Winter Wishes Festival, Pinkie Pie's Ferris Wheel Adventure, and Meet the Ponies. One of Starsong's backcard stories from the back of one of her toy's boxes. Sometimes a bit shy off stage, she loves to be in the spotlight putting on shows for her friends. STARSONG is a talented singer and dancer who shows off her skills best when she's on stage. Her cutie mark is a large hot pink and white star surrounded by smaller stars. Her eyes are aqua blue and her hoof heart is hot pink. In G3 her wings are violet, while in G3.5 they are lavender like her coat. Starsong is a lavender pegasus pony with light hot pink, hot pink, and cerise pink hair. She is one of the Core 7 and the only Pegasus of the group. None of these Ponies have official names besides "Mom.StarSong is a Pegasus pony character and toy of the G3 franchise. The only other ponies released in this style besides the Core 7 are the Mom ponies that come with the Newborn Cutie sets. Ponyville was also affected by the redesign.ΔΆ009's McDonald's ponies were in the G3.5 mold. Their symbols are printed on their diapers. They are not proportionate to their adult counterparts and have diapers instead of tails. This is the year the Newborn Cuties were first released. Each pony was given their own age, and are sized accordingly with Sweetie Belle being the smallest. The G3.5 ponies are considered to be kid ponies. G3.5 ponies had extra large heads, small bodies, big feet, and enormous eyes in comparison to G3 ponies. However G3.5 toys were still kicking around Target and similar stores into mid-2011, pushed to the side by their extremely more popular replacements. Throwback to Generation 3 with Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Cheerilee, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle as they and two other ponies Starsong and Toola Roola each ha. They were only produced from late 2009 and were then phased out by late 2010 and replaced by the G4 Ponies. They are known as G3.5 because they are the same characters as G3, but Hasbro gave the ponies a heavy style makeover so drastic that many collectors consider them a whole new generation. Generation 3.5 or G3.5 is the term for ponies made in the swan song of G3.
